It was 2018, on Ocean Drive in Miami at sunset. I was disoriented by alcohol and partying. All I can remember are the pastel buildings and palm trees. This rug is the result of my best effort to capture and recreate that moment. Every time I see it, I'm reminded of that relentless sunlight and overwhelming melancholy.
